Are you an experienced medical or allied health receptionist ready to step into a leadership role?

Or perhaps you're an existing practice manager looking for a supportive clinic where you can genuinely make an impact?

South Eastern Active Health is looking for a motivated, proactive and people-focused team member to help lead the day-to-day operations of our established allied health and medical specialist clinic.

Working closely with the Clinic Director, this role offers the opportunity to combine patient care, team leadership, clinic operations and business development in a varied and rewarding position.

Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and making things run smoothly?

Currently a senior receptionist ready for the next step, or an experienced practice manager looking for a positive and supportive clinic environment?

This role is perfect if you:

* Have experience working in a medical or allied health clinic
* Are friendly, confident and professional with patients
* Are organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
* Take initiative and enjoy solving problems and improving systems
* Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
* Care about delivering an excellent patient experience

This role would suit someone who is currently a senior receptionist ready for the next step, or an experienced practice manager looking for a supportive clinic environment.

Before You Apply (Important)

To be successful in this role, there are a few non-negotiables:

* Minimum 1 year experience working in a medical or allied health clinic
* You genuinely enjoy helping people and creating a positive patient experience
* You are reliable, punctual and take pride in your work
* You are organised with strong attention to detail
* You take initiative and solve problems rather than waiting to be told what to do
* You communicate clearly and work well within a team
* Experience with Cliniko, Xestro clinic software or Xero accounting is desirable but not essential
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Description

As the Practice Manager / Senior Receptionist you will help ensure the clinic runs smoothly and patients receive a welcoming and professional experience.

This is a hands‐on role combining reception, administration, team support and elements of practice management.

Your responsibilities may include:

Patient Experience & Reception

* Welcoming patients and creating a friendly clinic environment
* Managing practitioner diaries and appointments
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Processing payments including HICAPS, Medicare, TAC and DVA
* Managing referrals and patient records

Clinic Operations

* Supporting the smooth day‐to‐day running of the clinic
* Assisting with clinic systems and procedures
* Managing clinic supplies and inventory

Team Support

* Supporting reception staff and helping coordinate reception duties
* Assisting with team meetings and internal communication
* Contributing to a positive team culture

Marketing & Growth

* Assisting with clinic marketing and patient engagement
* Supporting social media and email communications

Compliance & Administration

* Assisting with clinic compliance tasks
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and HR administration (depending on experience)
