Job Overview
We are seeking an Engineer to facilitate the optimal extraction of gold ore from mining operations through comprehensive infrastructure planning, design, scheduling and execution.
* This involves designing and optimizing underground mine infrastructure to support the Life-of-Mine strategy, including mine services, fuel bay/workshops, dewatering, paste fill reticulation, escapeway installations, ventilation and surface infrastructure to support underground.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough infrastructure assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize mine operations.
2. Design and implement efficient mine services, including water management, power distribution, and communication systems.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of underground and surface infrastructure.
4. Develop and maintain infrastructure plans, schedules, and budgets to meet business objectives.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
