About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Group Safety Manager to lead our Work Health & Safety function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop and implement WHS strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and foster a safe workplace culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WHS management systems and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Deliver training and promote safety awareness across the organisation.
- Manage injury and return-to-work programs in line with legislation.
- Provide strategic WHS advice to senior leadership and stakeholders.
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar WHS leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with Aboriginal communities.
- Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain) and NT driver’s licence.
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (desirable).
