The Raypirri Rom Program is looking for a Raypirri Rom Administration Officer to provide important administrative support to the team. This role makes sure that office tasks and systems are done in a way that respects Yolŋu culture.
* Managing bookings and travel plans
* Ordering supplies and equipment
* Assisting with HR forms and staff records
* Organising and filing documents
* Answering phone calls and welcoming visitors
* Helping to create resources in both English and Yolŋu Matha
The position also helps ensure the team follows Miwatj policies and workplace safety rules. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community‑Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we're committed to securing quality health care services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yolŋu‑powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, Miwatj also manages a Corporate Office in Darwin, 7 fixed clinics across the East Arnhem region, and dedicated outreach teams who travel to 3 additional locations.
Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self‑determination, an understanding of issues faced by Yolngu people in remote communities, strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and the ability to work independently and within a team. Candidates must hold a current NT Driver's License and Ochre Card and be willing to participate in relevant training. Personal qualities such as reliability, motivation, and commitment are highly valued.
