Senior Payroll Officer
* Salary: $97,802 - $105,447 per annum
* Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
* Full Time Permanent

The City is seeking a payroll professional able to lead an effective fortnightly payroll service with a focus on compliance and customer service.
You will be responsible for the execution and processing of the City's fortnightly payroll using the Aurion Human Resources Information System. This senior role requires the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines. You will apply relevant Industrial Awards, Agreements, Australian Taxation Office and other statutory requirements, and drive continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems.
Your covering letter (no more than two pages) will need to address the following key criteria:
* Qualification in payroll, accounting and/or equivalent relevant experience.
* Experience using a HRIS and other online technology to complete end to end payroll function.
* Experience in a multi award/agreement end to end payroll position.
* Experience in processing workers compensation claims.
* Knowledge of ATO regulations as they relate to payment of salaries and wages.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret Awards and Agreements.
* Experience leading end to end payroll function.
