About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Dredging Administration Officer to support our operations team on the Gold Coast.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping our dredging and plant operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with managers, supervisors, and site teams to coordinate administration, procurement, and project support activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to project and operations teams
* Coordinate rosters, medicals, travel, accommodation, and site bookings
* Support timesheets, leave tracking, and roster updates
* Assist with onboarding and coordination of apprentices, including TAFE/RTO bookings
* Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and support subcontractor engagement
* Assist with end-of-month processes, including invoicing and reconciliation
* Manage client invoicing, billing, and work order close-out
* Maintain SDS registers and document control systems
* Support training coordination in collaboration with the People & Culture team
* Maintain digital filing systems and compliance documentation (permits, QA records)
* Provide general procurement and administrative support as required
About You
You're a detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You're confident juggling multiple priorities and enjoy supporting teams to stay organised and efficient.
To be successful, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role
* Experience in manufacturing, construction, or a similar industry (highly regarded)
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with purchasing, inventory, or stock systems (desirable)
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, team-focused approach
* Current driver's licence
