Accountable for delivering key works and projects to uplift the performance of the business through both contractual activity and other key requirements.
You have the authority and responsibility to resolve department wide issues through collaboration with other stakeholders, provide training/coaching to uplift the strategic capabilities of the NSW Workers Insurance Claims contracts team and provide flexible support where required within the department.
**What you'll do**:
- Implement the strategic vision
- Provide strategic claims related advice to a wide range of stakeholders
- Review procedures, processes, artefacts to ensure alignment of strategic goals
- Lead projects that GIO must undertake as a CSP within the NSW Workers Compensation scheme
- Provide a feedback loop and individualised coaching regarding decisions made by the claims teams and assisting with alternative avenues for claims decisions that are more customer centric to drive performance
- Review success of initiatives implemented and making enhancement to ensure continuous improvement
- Build relationships across the scheme.
**What you'll bring**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Business, Finance, Commerce).
- Extensive commercial experience in insurance or financial services
- Demonstrated management experience within workers insurance claims.
