Become our Skilling Queenslanders for Work Construction Traineeship Supervisor here at our nonprofit organisation in Logan City! We are an organisation with a point of difference in that we have huge reach into the community, and we are looking for a no-nonsense, hard-working person to lead a group of 10 women starting their Construction journey!
Twin Rivers Centre (TRC) is a not-for-profit community-based organisation that comprises both Twin Rivers Church and Twin Rivers Community Care. Our range of services includes:

Responsibilities
Outline of the role
Come and work on-site at The Twin Rivers Centre 30 hours per week ($45 per hour + allowances) for a 12-month contract supervising 2 x Groups of 10 women entering the construction workforce.
Duties and Requirements of the Role:
- Be a natural leader and with a no-nonsense approach.
- Have quality experience in the construction / carpentry field.
- Be a hands-on Supervisor who leads by example but prioritises delegation and mentoring.
- Work to uphold a robust Workplace Health & Safety culture, where possible offering new ideas and improvements. We are all in this together.
- Contribute to a positive work environment. Unity is built out of communication, honesty, trust and integrity. Teamwork makes the dream work.
- Work with the Program Coordinator fostering team cohesion (essential) and community thinking.
- Contribute to our KPI's; the trainees need to complete their traineeship, and we need to get them into jobs after!

- Ability to think outside the box, be flexible with the trainees work week, take them on excursions, take them to Job Expos, work with the rest of the team, build the traineeship alongside the Program Coordinator (within our funding guidelines).
