Early Start Australia (ESA) is a national multidisciplinary allied health organisation dedicated to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children and their families across 46 clinics in Australia.
We are looking for an exceptional Psychologist to join our welcoming team in Hindmarsh.
ESA Hindmarsh provides occupational therapy, physiotherapy, aquatic therapy, speech pathology, social work, psychology, assistive technology prescription, environmental modification, and a range of group therapy programs to support children and their families.
Overview
As a Psychologist at ESA, you'll play a crucial role in providing early intervention, assessment and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and potential.
Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD and intellectual developmental disorders
Provide evidence-based therapy interventions
Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families
Support developmental and clinical outcomes as well as meaningful participation in everyday life
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication and support
Develop suitable and functional, routine-based goals with clients and families within NDIS or Medicare framework
Provide services to children and young people between 2 and 16 years in both in-clinic and community-based provision
Focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review

What You Need To Join
Tertiary Qualifications: Psychology degree with current General Registration with AHPRA
Passion for Making a Difference: ability to make therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for families
Therapy Skills: capability to provide therapeutic interventions to children, young people and parents
Assessment Skills: ability to conduct cognitive and clinical assessments, including diagnostic formulation and reporting
Experience: experience with neurodevelopmental needs is desirable; training/experience with ADOS and MIGDAS is desirable
Compliance: ensure compliance with checks and certifications including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS worker screening, First Aid, and a valid Driver's License and vehicle
