Join Ventia's NIFM Team as an HVAC Efficiency Specialist
About the Role
This is a practical, technical role where you'll apply your extensive HVAC expertise to improve energy efficiency and reliability across our network sites. You'll be responsible for:
* Diagnosing and correcting deficiencies in HVAC assets and controls
* Identifying and resolving issues impacting energy consumption
* Designing and implementing cost‐effective projects to reduce energy usage, incorporating innovative products and solutions
* Performing robust calculations to predict and verify energy savings
* Applying trade experience across HVAC systems, refrigeration, and DDC controls programming
* Providing technical support to contractors and facility managers
* Travelling to regional and interstate sites as required
About You
To succeed in this role you'll bring:
* Previous experience as a qualified Air Conditioning tradesperson
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, BMS, and DDC controls
* Experience with Innotech, Siemens, or Honeywell systems (highly regarded)
* Excellent fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
* Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast‐changing environment
* Highly organised with a continuous improvement mindset
