About the role
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic or a 3rd/4th year apprentice thats keen and takes direction to join our team at Claassen Mechanical service (CMS) in Rockingham.
This is a full time or casual
position for the right candidate, we are open to flexible options.
We work hard and fix s##t - real mechanics. If you want to learn from a couple of keen old boys who have many many years experiance in light and heavy vehicles and mobile equipment, come on down and see us.

As part of the team you will be working in a friendly can-do environment and be responsible for the repair and maintenance of both cars and light trucks, occasionally boat trailers, fork lifts, and generally some pretty interesting gear.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
* Performing routine maintenance tasks such as services and brake repairs.
* Troubleshooting complex problems and implementing effective solutions
* Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient repair process
* Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a focus on anything mechanical.
* A minimum of 3-5 years in the automotive industry is required.
* Strong technical knowledge and expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair
* Familiarity with a range of tools and equipment used in the automotive industry
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality work = no comebacks.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics
* A trade qualification in automotive mechanics is required.
* Valid Australian work rights are required, including citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa holders.
* A willingness and work in a team environment with a good attitude.
