Working from our Sydney HQ, Rydalmere; this role will report directly to the Head of HR APAC.
ABOUT YOU!
* Has proven experience as a Payroll Manager, preferably at least 5 years in a full function role within a manufacturing environment
* High accuracy levels and attention to detail
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of EBA, awards, legislation and the ability to interpret them
* Experience in Payroll systems implementation / HRIS implementation
* Project management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
* Process monthly and two weekly payrolls for employees, including handling all aspects of salary calculations, deductions, and bonuses
* Address and resolve payroll discrepancies
* Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports to relevant authorities, maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date record of payroll activities
* Collaborate with other departments and maintain accurate employee data
* Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and provide clear and accurate information to employees and stakeholders
* Liaise with external auditors
* Involvement in HR & Payroll projects
