Located 382km southwest of Katherine, this unique service offers a child-led bilingual program where children learn Ngaringman alongside local educators in a culturally rich Aboriginal community.
The Role
As Centre Director, you will lead, inspire and mentor a dedicated team to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care while overseeing the daily operations of the service. You will build strong relationships with children, families, staff and the local community, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of educators
* Oversee daily centre operations and staffing rosters
* Mentor staff and lead by example
* Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and WHS requirements
* Manage budgets, funding and reporting
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage recruitment, performance reviews and professional development
* Deliver curriculum aligned with organisational philosophy
* Act as Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person

Requirements
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
* Minimum 1 year leadership experience or strong 2IC experience
* Valid NT Ochre Card
* National Police Clearance
* Current First Aid and CPR
* Ability and willingness to relocate
