Disability Support Worker – Ringwood Social Connections (Day Program)
Scope's purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities to achieve their goals. Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.
Position Details
* Position: Disability Support Worker
* Employment type: Permanent Part Time
* Work location: Scope Ringwood Social Connections
* Hours of work: Monday to Friday – 9am to 3pm (30 mins unpaid break)
* Total hours per fortnight: 55
About You
* Ability to support participants with daily living activities while ensuring safe and confident engagement within the community.
* A collaborative team member who contributes to Scope's Day Program by supporting access, inclusion, and participation for adults with disabilities.
* Experience supporting clients to achieve their personal goals, hobbies, and interests through a person‐centred approach, including activities such as sports and games, art and crafts, and community outings.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive, welcoming relationships with families, colleagues, and external service providers.
You must have or be willing to obtain:
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid and CPR
* VIC Driver's licence
* International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
