The Role & Project
MACA Mining are seeking a HD Fitters and a leading hand HD Fitter to join our maintenance team at our Sanjiv Ridge project. The Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine, owned by Atlas Iron, is situated in the Pilbara region of WA approximately 240 kilometres from Port Hedland.
The fleet onsite consists of CAT 785D, CAT 785C dump trucks, Komatsu, Liebherr R excavators, CAT777D watercart, CAT 16M Grader, CAT D10T Dozer, and Epiroc T45 Drill Rigs.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Cert
* Surface mining equipment fleet experience
* Ability to troubleshoot and fault‐find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
* Good knowledge and ability to follow work health & safety procedures and policies
