**About the role**
Based in our Melbourne Tullamarine office this role reports to the Customer Service Supervisor, ensures industrial project clients are satisfied and expectations met, promotes existing services, ensuring data accuracy whilst reporting to management.
**What you will be doing**
- Customer Service
- Manage job file creation, costing and other data entries
- Maintain and update industrial project client profiles and details
- Order follow-up and maintenance of Order reports for industrial project clients
- Ensure clients are updated on all matters which includes pre-alerts, arrival dates, offloads and the delivery schedule
- Quote profitable levels to industrial project clients and overseas offices
- Handle customers rate and shipment queries
- Liaise with operational & warehouse staff to ensure client requirements are met
- Implement & maintain industrial project clients SOP's
- Arrange bookings with carriers / co-loaders and execute all pertinent shipping documents
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and other related activities
- Promote and develop all Bollore Logistics services to industrial project clients
- Liaise with management on the following:
- All matters concerning customer details
- Accounts that are approaching or outside their agreed terms
- Service and develop existing accounts

**The successful applicant**
Essential:
- At least three years of experience in Customer Service or related role
- Previous sea and air freight experience
- Proficient knowledge of freight forwarding
Desirable:
- Previous industrial experience is an added advantage
- Familiarity with CargoWise One and AutoManager
- Fluent in Microsoft Suite programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Conflict resolution and diplomacy know-how
- Ability to think laterally to find practical solutions to problems
