**About the role**:
- Perform risk assessments for loan offers to SME's
- Provide analysis of loan offers and trend reporting on loan diversification and trends
- Lead process improvements in our Underwriting function
- Stay abreast of economic variables and changes to evaluate their impact on the underwriting and risk assessment function.
- Assessing and providing hardship support to clients from time to time.
**About You**:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure
- 3 years in a similar Risk or Credit role
- A genuine interest in solving problems and thinking outside of the box
- University degree in business, finance or similar
- Fluency in English is essential
- Background in credit underwriting
- Able to structure loans that are sometime outside of the box and does meet the normal requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Clear, concise communication style
- Property backed underwriting knowledge would be preferred
- Previous experience in alternative lenders or non-banking entities desirable
