Our bakery is looking for a skilled baker to join our team in Belmont Citi. This role involves hands-on production of high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced bakers to deliver consistent products while maintaining quality and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing doughs for baking
* Monitoring proofing and baking to ensure quality and consistency
* Decorating or finishing products where required
* Following production schedules and managing time effectively
* Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld
* Supporting junior bakers as needed
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bakery
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' commercial baking experience, or completed Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent)
* Strong technical baking skills across bread, rolls, and specialty products
* Ability to follow set recipes and maintain product consistency
* Reliability and willingness to work early mornings and weekends
* Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Desirable
* Previous experience in a bakery
* Knowledge of food safety procedures
* Experience with high-volume production
