About Your Role
This is a full-time permanent position based in Maroochydore where you'll be responsible for overseeing operational teams, creating opportunities, and aligning services with customer needs within our Supported Independent Living Homes (SILS) and community access services. The role focuses on the organisation's core mission and ensuring positive outcomes for customers, their families, and the organisation.
As part of your responsibilities, you will undertake site visits to locations including Landsborough, Bli Bli, and Banya.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Service Manager or someone looking to advance their career, as you'll be managing services across the Sunshine Coast. You will be supported by a fantastic team that shares your dedication and passion.
Responsibilities include:
* Align services with Multicap's vision, priorities, and customer needs.
* Provide strong leadership and support to staff.
* Lead and develop a team to ensure personalised service delivery and growth.
* Participate in staff recruitment and selection based on service needs.
* Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
* Manage the referral, intake and assessment of customers entering Multicap services.
* To identify and develop individual service plans, budgets and quotes.
* Manage feedback and complaints processes.
* Support service financial goals by forecasting, assisting with budgets, operating within parameters, and initiating corrective actions.
Experience, skills & qualifications
* Experience in disability services, managing SILs.
* Relevant qualifications in human services or equivalent. (desirable)
* Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and DSOA funding. (preferred)
* Familiarity of age care processes. (advantage)
* Proficient in staff management, including recruitment assessment, development planning, and performance management.
* Skilled in developing Person-Centred-Plans within a positive behaviour framework.
* Knowledgeable in legislation, safe work practices, and adherence to policies.
* Financially adept, capable of budget management and providing advocacy as necessary.
Requirements
* Valid driver's licence
* CPR and First Aid certificate
* NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
* Blue card (Working with Children Check)
* NDIS orientation module certificate
* Ability to travel occasionally to Eight Mile Plains
