Argyle Psychology is currently seeking a friendly and empathetic Administration Assistant to join our group psychology practice. The practice was established in early 2022 and has been rapidly evolving since, meaning we now require extra administrative support. Argyle Psychology is a supportive and inclusive working environment committed to ensuring staff wellbeing.
Applicants must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to multi-task in a busy working environment. We require a team member who has the ability and desire to work within a team environment, but to also work independently when required.
We are recruiting for a part-time position (minimum 2 days per week), but ideally applicants will have flexibility to cover holiday and sick leave when required.
Responsibilities:
* Greeting clients and responding to telephone queries
* Scheduling and maintaining client appointments
* Maintaining and updating client files
* Ability to adopt a friendly, patient and compassionate approach to client care
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Facilitating client billing with a high level of accuracy
* Processing payments, including Medicare and Private Health claims, and Eftpos payments
* Completion of end of day reconciliations
* Preparing financial reports
* Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
* General office and administration duties including operation of standard office equipment
* Ensuring tidiness of waiting room/reception area and consulting rooms
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant
* Previous experience in allied health or medical reception is highly desirable but not essential
* Previous experience using practice management software Zanda is highly desirable but not essential
