About The Role
This position is responsible for providing friendly, professional and efficient service to Tennis World members, coaching students and customers ensuring the service areas of Melbourne Park and Albert Reserve – Court hire, Membership, Programs, Social Leagues, Tournaments, Coaching, Pro Shop, Tours, Merchandise and Café – are delivered to the highest levels of customer service and efficiency.
Reporting into the Customer Experience Lead, in this role you will:
* Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service via phone, email and face‐to‐face.
* Support customers with the sale of merchandise, court booking and any tennis‐related enquiries.
* Maintain front‐of‐house areas, including the pro shop and café, with coffee making, food preparation and stock control.
* Promote Australian Open guided tours and ensure key dates and information are communicated effectively.
* Deliver administration and customer service support to Tennis World tournaments, social leagues and initiatives.
* Advance operations by providing recommendations to support the overall commercial viability of Tennis World.
About You
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment and with minimal supervision.
* An eagerness to listen, learn and develop.
* Previous experience in providing exceptional customer service, preferably in the sport and leisure industry.
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
* Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements related to Tennis Australia.
