Best Choice Contracting, you will be responsible for installing and finishing wall and floor tiling across residential and commercial construction projects. This position requires strong technical skills, precision workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within a team-driven environment. Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Examine plans, specifications and site measurements to determine tiling layout and material requirements for residential and commercial projects
* Prepare wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, levelling and applying waterproofing systems in accordance with building standards
* Cut, shape and lay ceramic, porcelain, stone and other tiles to required patterns and designs
* Apply adhesives, grout and sealants to ensure durable and high-quality finishes
* Install floor and wall tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and commercial spaces according to project specifications
* Repair and replace damaged tiles as part of renovation and maintenance works
* Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and
Work Health & Safety regulations on all job sites
* Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure tiling work aligns with overall construction schedules
* Inspect completed tiling work to ensure accuracy, alignment and high-quality finishes
* Maintain tools, equipment and materials in safe and operational condition
Qualifications and Skills:
* Relevant qualification.
* Minimum 1 year experience as a Floor Tiler
* Strong knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives and waterproofing systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
