Acclaimed Workforce is a specialist recruitment and labour hire agency servicing wine, manufacturing and warehousing employers in key regional hubs. We are currently looking to add a Cellar Hand Operator to work for our client, based in the Barossa Valley, for casual on-going work.

What does the role involve?
• Load and unload tankers, prioritising safety and compliance
• Preparation and transferring of juice and wine ready to be bottled - transfers between tanks
• Operate and maintain relevant equipment
• Accurately document records of cellar operations
• Clean tanks, equipment and work areas to quality food safety standards
• An understanding of Cellar Hand processes - desirable but not essential
To be successful in this role, you must:
• Have availability to work 5 days a week - Monday to Friday, working across a weekly rotating roster
• Be able to perform the physical requirements for the role - moving & connecting heavy hoses, standing for long periods
• Possess good work ethics (highly reliable) and have a keen interest to learn new skills/tasks
• Have the ability to take directions and follow instruction accurately
• Be 18+ years of age
• Hold a current valid driver's licence, have your own reliable transport (no public transport options to or from site due to location)
• Possess unrestricted working rights in Australia. Applicants residing overseas will not be considered. We are seeking long-term workers in the region.
Successful applicants must have the ability to pass the Acclaimed Workforce pre-employment criteria which will include a musculoskeletal assessment with drug and alcohol testing.
A minimum of two (2) contactable, work-related referees must be supplied to be considered for the positions.
