Civil Site Supervisor Role
A leading civil construction company is seeking a highly motivated Civil Site Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Their portfolio of large-scale subdivision projects includes a variety of civil construction packages including roadworks, drainage, earthworks, sewers and underground services.
As part of the leadership team, you will manage a skilled team of workers while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will oversee, plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, ensuring the efficient and safe completion of projects.
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure optimal productivity and quality of work.
* Conduct daily site inspections, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
* Monitor project progress, report on project status, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, quality inspections, and material deliveries.
* Liaise with Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in line with project specifications, company standards, and relevant legislation.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
* At least 3 years' experience working as a Civil Supervisor on subdivision / land development projects.
* Strong working knowledge of earthworks, drainage, underground services, pavement and road construction.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
* High regard and compliance to all HSE policies and procedures.
* Are comfortable with technology and able to use standard programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word.
* Construction White Card.
* Drivers Licence.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
* Permanent Australian working rights.

* $130,000 – $160,000 base salary (dependent on experience).
