The Opportunity
As a Technical Sales Representative for the Queensland region, you will be responsible for growing revenue through providing high-quality end to end sales process for new and existing Gravotech customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Active sales of engraving and laser systems as well as consumables in your territory
* Need analysis = solution definition and presentation
* Marking machine demonstration
* Sales negotiation (price, payment terms, delivery)
* Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of existing key accounts within your territory
* Expansion and support of existing customers as well as acquisition of new customers
* Generation, support, follow-up and closing of own sales opportunities and leads
* Development and expansion of the project portfolio
* Sales meetings and negotiations within a given scope of action
* Own appointment and travel planning (dynamic, efficient and with vision)
* Working with the CRM tool: including reporting, gaining sustainable customer information
* Reporting to the sales management
What you will bring
* A technical background (ie. industrial, mechanical or engineering degree) with commercial knowledge or equivalent working experience with a relevant tertiary education
* Several years of professional experience in technical sales in B2B (technical equipment) and look after customers with enthusiasm
* Results, sales and customer-oriented, as well as confident in negotiating and closing deals in technical environments.
* Effective communication skills, independent, planned and organised
* Possess an affinity for industrial automatism and production applications
* You have knowledge of the industrial (manufacturing) market
* You have MS-Office skills and you see working with a CRM tool as a benefit, not a burden
