Glazier (jandakot)

ACERO Constructions is seeking an experienced and dedicated Glazier to join our dynamic team. As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier glazing solutions for both residential and commercial projects, including modern architectural designs and modular construction. This position requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a strong ability to deliver custom glass installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and shape glass to specific dimensions for installations such as windows, doors, skylights, and more.
• Install glass and mirrors in various settings, including residential and commercial buildings, display cases, interior walls, ceilings, and modular structures.
• Prepare installation sites by securing frames, structural supports, and sealing glass to ensure durability and environmental protection.
• Work with modular construction companies to install glass in prefabricated structures, employing specialized techniques.
• Provide custom glass and mirror solutions that cater to the unique needs of clients, ensuring energy efficiency, safety, and aesthetic quality.
• Operate elevated work platforms (EWP) and tools safely, and read and interpret Façade shop drawings and construction plans.
• Ensure all work adheres to the highest standards of quality and safety, while maintaining a clean and organized work workplace.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to address and resolve any technical issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Glazier in both residential and commercial settings.
• Ability to work in regional and remote environments.
• Expertise in handling complex glazing tasks for large commercial projects and modular construction units.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and construction plans.
• Experience operating EWP machinery and other relevant tools.
• Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.
• Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
• Schedule: 8 hour shift
• Work Location: In person
• Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred)
