The Hotel Services Manager is responsible for the effective management and delivery of food services, cleaning, laundry, and café operations across Rosewood Care Group's facilities.
Working collaboratively with the General Manager Residential, Facility Managers, and other key stakeholders, the Hotel Services Manager ensures that residents receive high-quality, safe, and person-centered hospitality services.
This hands-on leadership role oversees a multidisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering continuous improvement, and delivering service excellence that aligns with Rosewood's values and standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily catering, cleaning, laundry, and café operations across both facilities, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and OHS standards.Manage resident dietary needs in collaboration with clinical teams and respond to resident feedback to ensure high satisfaction.Lead and develop the Hotel Services team, including recruitment, rostering, training, and fostering a positive team culture.Manage stock control, purchasing, cost analysis, and equipment maintenance to support efficient operations.Drive quality improvement initiatives, contribute to policy development, and support budget planning and cost efficiency.SELECTION CRITERIAMinimum 3 years of management experience in a comparable Hotel Services, Hospitality, or Aged Care environment.Relevant hospitality qualification or trade certificate.Proven knowledge and practical experience in food safety regulations and compliance.Demonstrated success in managing high-volume, cook-fresh and/or cook-chill food service operations at a senior level.Experience in delivering services within a customer-focused organisation.Strong organisational and administrative skills, including proficiency in relevant computer systems.Experience in quality assurance systems and standards.Associate membership or professional recognition by relevant state/national industry bodies.Other RequirementsMust hold, or be willing to obtain, a current National Police Clearance.Up-to-date Flu Vaccination, or willing to get vaccinated.Full working rights in Australia are required for this position.
