Role Summary

Reddam House North Shore is proud to be the newest addition to the Reddam House school group in Australia. As a co‐educational, non‐denominational school, we are committed to empowering every student to achieve their full potential within a supportive, student‐centred environment. More than an education, Reddam House North Shore offers a distinctive experience—combining academic excellence with rich cultural and sporting opportunities. With planned growth from 880 to 1,200, we are seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to join our team on a 4‐month fixed‐term contract focused on our 2028 growth and beyond. Based at our school in North Sydney, this role will play a key part in managing the increased enquiry volumes and the end‐to‐end admissions process for prospective families.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

* Act as the primary point of contact for prospective parents, students, agents, and feeder schools, providing timely and professional responses via email, phone, and in‐person.
* Guide prospective families through the admissions process, ensuring their questions are answered and fostering a positive impression of Reddam House.

Admissions Process Management

* Maintain the Admissions Department calendar and coordinate visits and meetings for prospective parents, students, and agents.
* Accurately input and update application data in the iSAMS system, including offer details, financial records, and contracts.
* Oversee application deposits and resolve admissions invoice queries.
* Track and update records for place and scholarship offers, and draft offer letters for the Head of School.

Event Organisation and Support

* Assist the Head of Admissions in planning and executing key admissions events such as open days, entrance assessments, taster days, exhibitions, and alumni events.
* Accompany and guide visitors on tours of the school and boarding houses, creating a welcoming and professional experience.

Collaboration and Communication

* Work closely with academic and admin staff to schedule meetings with prospective families.
* Liaise with the Communications Manager to ensure admissions materials are current and available online and in print.

Onboarding and Welcoming

* Prepare and distribute New Student Welcome Packs, ensuring families have all necessary information.
* Collaborate with academic and house staff to facilitate smooth onboarding for new students, maintaining a consistent and positive experience.

Skills & Experience

* Demonstrated experience in admissions, customer service, or a similar administrative role.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
* High proficiency with database systems (e.g., iSAMS) and standard office software.
* Experience in event coordination is a strong advantage.
