Assistant Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Full Time Assistant Manager to join the PLG team at Golden Fleece Hotel in Melton.
Your management skills will be used in supporting the achievement of set financial targets, leading and inspiring the team, co‐creating the best experiences for our clients and ensuring compliance with all external bodies.
The Golden Fleece Hotel is a favourite local spot for all to enjoy, featuring modern facilities including a family‐friendly bistro with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, the hotel caters to both children and adults alike.

Duties
* Assisting with the achievement of set financial targets
* Stock control and management
* Ensuring front‐of‐house ambiance and appearance are appropriate at all times
* Staff management including rostering, training, and performance management
* Coordination, execution, and evaluation of promotions
* Managing venue auditing and compliance requirements
* Handling tasks in a fast‐paced environment such as lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality management
* Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
* Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG)
* Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence
* Food Handlers Certificate
* Tab Compliance
* Energetic and positive can‐do attitude
* Ability to work productively in a rapid‐paced and agile environment
* Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
