The B Project Co. is seeking a passionate, skilled, and driven Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a venue known for delivering high-quality food, exceptional service, and a welcoming dining experience, we are looking for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining outstanding food standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef to contribute to a creative and collaborative kitchen while playing a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences for our customers.

The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:

* Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in accordance with company recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation to ensure efficiency and consistency.
* Monitor food preparation processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet service demands.
* Develop new dishes and contribute to seasonal or promotional menu planning in collaboration with the Head Chef or management.
* Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food to maintain freshness and prevent wastage.
* Enforce strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations and workplace health and safety laws.
* Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
* Manage inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and perform stock takes as required.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards and operational consistency.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience for customers.

Qualifications:• Advanced Diploma or Diploma of Hospitality Management (Preferred but not mandatory)• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (Preferred but not mandatory)

Other Skills and Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen setting
* Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food hygiene, and culinary techniques
* Strong leadership and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
* Creative approach to menu design and food presentation
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
* Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude
