The role
We have a unique opportunity for a Lawyer (2-5 years PQE) to join our Public Sector practice group in our Brisbane office.
Working closely with Partner Tim Gordon and Eleanor Dickens, this diverse role will see you working at the forefront of public sector administrative and regulatory matters. The practice assists Federal, State and Local government clients with complex administrative law and regulatory matters including statutory investigations and reviews, administrative and regulatory litigation, information, data and privacy as well as human rights and general advisory.

Skills & experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 2-5 PQE in either private practice and/or in-house Government experience
* A strong work ethic; highly developed interpersonal and communication skills - required for building client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment
* Excellent drafting and writing skills, including drafting reports, advices and litigation documents
* A desire to learn and genuine interest in administrative law
* A proven track record of prioritising your time across a number of busy matters
* An interest in government
In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter; someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to their clients.
The Public Sector team
Our National Public Sector group is widely regarded to be the premier private government practice in the country and has a wealth of talent and experience within the team.
The team helps a range of Commonwealth and State Government departments and agencies with some of their most interesting, significant and technically challenging programs and projects. We use our skills to solve complex legal problems, assist with the development and implementation of program strategy, and inform policy development.
