The Opportunity
As Centre Manager, you’ll take ownership of the performance and growth of the Winnellie location - balancing commercial outcomes, team leadership and operational excellence.
You’ll lead from the front, driving membership sales, building local partnerships and delivering an exceptional experience for every member.
What You'll Own
Membership & Revenue Growth
* Own membership sales performance and achieve revenue targets
* Generate and convert leads through in-centre activity, local marketing and community engagement
* Build referral partnerships with gyms, sporting clubs, corporates and allied health providers
* Run community initiatives such as open days, workshops and trial sessions that convert into memberships
* Track and optimise sales performance, conversion rates and revenue growth
Team Leadership
* Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team
* Set clear KPIs and provide structured training and support
* Create a positive team culture focused on service and results
Centre Operations
* Manage daily operations including staffing, scheduling and customer service
* Oversee inventory, supplier relationships, banking and staff rostering to ensure smooth operations
Customer Experience
* Build strong relationships with members and respond to enquiries
* Resolve concerns quickly and maintain high levels of satisfaction
* Oversee membership sales and billing processes with the finance team
* Drive member engagement, referrals and retention
Facility & Risk Management
* Maintain high facility standards including hygiene and cleanliness
* Coordinate maintenance and repairs when required
* Identify and manage workplace risks to ensure a safe environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* Experience managing operations in a health, wellness, fitness or service-based environment
* Proven success in a sales-driven role with accountability for revenue targets or business growth
* Demonstrated ability to drive membership or subscription-based sales
* Experience running local marketing or community initiatives is highly regarded
Skills
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Commercial mindset with the ability to turn strategy into results
* Ability to generate, track and convert leads using structured sales processes
