Job Title: Pathology Collector
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Pathology Collector. As a pathology collector, you will play a critical role in the healthcare system by collecting and transporting biological specimens from patients to laboratories for analysis.
Responsibilities:
* Perform ECGs: You will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients to assess their heart rhythm and function.
* Participate in a weekend roster: As part of our team, you will be required to work weekends and participate in a rotating roster to ensure that our services are always available.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations: Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations to prevent harm to yourself and others.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience: To be considered for this position, you must have at least one year of experience in a related field.
* Current working-with-children check: You must hold a current working-with-children check to ensure your suitability to work with children and vulnerable individuals.
* Driver's licence preferred: A driver's license is highly desirable for this role, as you will be required to transport biological specimens.
