About the role
Border Carpets & National Tiles Wodonga is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team in Wodonga, VIC. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our warehousing and distribution centre. This is a full-time position that will involve hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Receiving, processing, and storing incoming goods and materials
2. Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time
3. Operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trolleys, to move and manage stock
4. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
5. Assisting with inventory management and cycle counting
6. Trade centre& drive through sales
7. General Warehouse duties
8. Other duties as required
Qualifications & experience
1. Demonstrated experience in a similar warehousing or logistics role
2. White Card
3. Medium Rigid Licence (desirable but not essential)
4. Forklift licence and experience in operating warehouse equipment
5. Experience with MYOB (not essential)
6. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
7. Excellent time management skills
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
9. Good communication and teamwork skills
10. Ability to follow instructions and procedures
11. High level of accountability
12. A commitment to workplace health and safety
13. Hands on and physically fit
We expect the applicant to provide a friendly and seamless finish to the customer experience. Heavy lifting is required in this role with cartons/bags weighing in excess of 20kg
