Are you passionate about creating a warm and welcoming dining experience? We are looking for a Catering Assistant / Kitchen Hand to join our team and help make mealtimes enjoyable for our residents. Working in a friendly, home-like environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Location: St Andrews Aged Care, Tallebudgera
Employment Type: Part Time
Remuneration: $27.12 to $30.07 per hour + Salary Packaging + Employee discounts
About The Role: In this role, you’ll assist with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring food is served safely and meets dietary requirements. You’ll also be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, supporting a positive and hygienic environment. Your efforts will contribute to making each day brighter for our residents through nutritious and delicious meals.
- Contributing to the preparation of a quality meal service
- Delivering the residents\' meal service
- Assisting the Chef in all areas of the kitchen
- Communicating well with co-workers, residents and their families
About You: You will be able to show you have robust customer service and people skills. You can juggle your time and tasks well and you believe attention to detail matters.
- Must maintain a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or Police Check as per site requirements
- Possess skills and experience in cooking/preparing meals, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning and utilisation of commercial kitchen equipment
