Roster: 7/7, day-shift & night-shift
About our client:
Our client is a leading Australian mining contractor with over 60 years of industry experience. They deliver surface and underground mining services across Australia and Southeast Asia, partnering with major resource companies.
What you will be doing:
We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters with strong mobile plant expertise to join the maintenance team, contributing to the upkeep and reliability of the site’s mobile equipment. This is a great opportunity to secure a role with an expanding operation as it continues to build momentum.
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks including:
* Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on mobile plant
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently and safely
* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities
* Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety standards and procedures
* Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately
What you will need :
* Experience as a HD Fitter: relevant experience with Caterpillar, Liebherr or Hitachi mining equipment
* Current Drivers Licence
* Experience: Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Australian-recognized Trade Certificate: Must hold a relevant trade qualification that is officially recognized in Australia.
* Positive attitude: A positive, proactive mindset is essential, as you'll be working in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and problem-solving are key to success.
* Strong safety-focused work ethic: A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all tasks, ensuring both personal and team well-being.
