This role supports the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused pathology service by performing specimen collection and processing duties to support diagnostic testing and patient care services within the hospital laboratory.
What you'll do
In this role you will collect diagnostic blood samples from a range of patients, perform specimen processing and general laboratory duties, register specimens into the laboratory information system, maintain the work area and equipment, and follow patient identification, labelling and quality procedures to support laboratory operations.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
* Has experience collecting diagnostic blood samples
* Has experience working in a pathology or healthcare environment
* Has good communication and interpersonal skills
* Can work accurately with minimal supervision
