Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the design and planning activities for large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment, as well as experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.
About the Role
* Design and evaluate ports, harbours, coastal works and marine structures
* Lead technical delivery of new and interesting projects
* Leverage your maritime structural experience to deliver concept designs through to construction phase support
* Opportunities for leadership (project management and design management) and business development (proposal preparation and client positioning)
Requirements
* Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain chartership within agreed timeframe)
* Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance
* Significant experience in structural design and evaluation of ports, harbours, coastal works and marine structures
