National Import DTX Officer
We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time National Import DTX Officer, within the Documentation team in Fremantle.
Key tasks and responsibilities
* Balance Import Manifests in MSC Link using bayplans and DTX files issued by Port of Load and transhipment ports
* Advise customer service and operations teams regarding discrepancies encountered between manifest and bayplan
* Correctly assign invoice companies to import manifests and ensure correct local charges are applied
* Process manifest correctors as soon as possible after manifests have been loaded into OVA and update Customs accordingly
* Send arrival notices to clients prior to the cargo arriving at the destination port
* Lodge Vessel Impending Arrival reports, Import cargo manifests, and Coastal cargo movements to Customs to meet compliance obligations.
* Lodge container movement requests, via Underbonds, Coastal Cargo lists, to Customs as required
* Send Import Port Authority Manifests to relevant Port Authority in an accurate and timely manner
Qualifications and skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
* Strong attention to detail
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
