With an ambitious pipeline of developments and a commitment to accelerating Australia's energy transition, they are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their high-performing team. Base pay rangeA$220,000.00/yr - A$280,000.00/yr ResponsibilitiesLead and manage legal aspects ofM&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and corporate structuring. Advise onproperty and land access arrangements, including leasing, easements, and landowner negotiations. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts relevant to renewable energy development. Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including development, finance, and operations teams, to support project delivery. Engage and manage external legal advisors where required. QualificationsQualified lawyer with7+ years PQE(private practice and/or in-house). Strong background incorporate/M&A law, ideally with exposure to infrastructure or energy projects. Experience inproperty lawand land access matters. Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. A genuine interest in therenewable energy sectorand contributing to the energy transition.
