Family Violence Solicitor - Mallee Region The Client A well-regarded community legal service supporting vulnerable individuals across the region through integrated, early-intervention and trauma-informed practice.
The service delivers legal assistance in partnership with maternal and child health services, family violence teams and broader community programs.
THE ROLE Provide legal advice, casework and court representation with a focus on family violence Work within an integrated practice alongside social workers, MCH teams and partner agencies Support referrals from maternal health services through the Mabels Program Engage in community legal education and stakeholder collaboration Participate in reviews, data reporting and reflective practice as part of a multidisciplinary team SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years' post-admission experience (not suitable for new graduates) Experience in family violence or family law, grounded in a trauma-informed approach Ability to work collaboratively in an integrated, multidisciplinary environment Strong communication skills and confidence managing sensitive client matters Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds; overseas applicants welcome (no sponsorship) BENEFITS $95-$109K + Super.
