About the Role
We are seeking a Post Office Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Post Office and Tatts Lotto outlet. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with strong organisational, financial, and customer service skills who can manage staff, streamline processes, and support the business's financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the Post Office and Tatts Lotto outlet.
* Ensure full compliance with Australia Post, Tatts Lotto, and company policies and procedures.
* Oversee mail logistics, bill payments, banking services, and retail operations.
* Supervise Lotto sales, prize payouts, and secure handling of all transactions.
* Manage product range, stock control, and merchandising to maximise sales.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
* Reconcile daily takings, manage cash flow, and prepare accurate banking deposits.
* Recruit, train, roster, and lead staff to achieve service and performance goals.
* Maintain workplace safety, security, and compliance standards.
About You
* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline (preferred).
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in retail, operations, or logistics management.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
* Strong financial management and reporting experience.
* Knowledge of postal or lotto operations will be highly regarded.
* High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
