Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining the site and all its facilities to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advising management on any necessary standard or facilities concerns
\
2. Resolving issues in a timely manner
\
3. Contributing to a safe working environment by reporting any health and safety hazards to the management team
\
4. Undertaking any necessary training if required, statutory training e.g. fire safety, manual handling etc.
\
5. Undertaking any other duties at the request of Operations team
\
6. Conducting spot check audits to identify potential hazards and recommending corrective actions
\
7. Recommending preventative and implementing corrective actions and monitoring the effectiveness of improvements
\
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams
\
9. Undertaking duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls
\
10. Reporting any damage or defects to the management team
\
11. Keeping the building and immediate exterior area clear
\
12. Ensuring the security of the building and its contents, as far as is reasonably practicable
\
13. Reporting any acts of vandalism and damage to a member of the management team as soon as possible
\
14. At the direction of and with the agreement of the Operations team, carrying out minor repairs of a DIY nature (which do not require specialist knowledge)
\
15. Major repairs to be carried out by an appropriate contractor as detailed by the Operations team, with temporary action to be taken
\
16. Liaising where necessary with contractors on site
\
17. Ensuring standards of quality, customer service are always met
\
18. Working with the Operations team to identify and work towards continuous skills competency and professional development
\
