Business Traineeship – Seymour Whyte Constructions
We're excited to offer a full‐time Business Traineeship in partnership with Seymour Whyte Constructions. The position will be based in Toowoomba, QLD, and will support the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement project as part of a 12‐month program that combines online learning with real‐world experience and allows completion of a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Duties
* Provide effective administrative support to the project team.
* Operate the reception professionally, linking the public, clients, staff, suppliers, and contractors.
* Input delivery dockets, orders and invoices into the job costing system and follow up with staff to clarify issues.
* Develop an understanding of subcontracted and self‐performed construction activities, and the standard payment terms and conditions.
* Enter data for safety and other systems.
* Distribute mail, file documents, and take minutes.
* Maintain site registers.
* Assist in coordinating site meetings and events.
* Assist in coordinating site‐based travel, accommodation and relocation arrangements.
* Understand, comply with, and remain current with all Seymour Whyte policies, procedures and compliance training relevant to the role.

Qualifications & Experience
* Hold a current driver's licence.
* Have experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).

* Be a proactive team player, capable of taking initiative and working independently when required.
* Have strong attention to detail.
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and police check.
