Hydrographic Surveyor Role
This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data processing and surveying operations, with a focus on hydrographic surveying.
* Data Processing and Surveying Operations:
o Assist with preparation of data deliverables from surveys, including processing multibeam bathymetry data, CAD and GIS work, data management, and archiving.
o Exposure to a wide range of hydrographic surveying operations, including nautical charting, geophysics and geotechnical survey, offshore positioning and construction support, and remote operations.
o Exposure to survey and data processing software.

* Requirements:
o Enrollment in a Bachelor of Surveying program (Curtin University preferred).
o A strong interest in hydrographic surveying.
o Preferably be a second-year (or higher) student.
o Good verbal communication, interfacing, and writing skills.
o Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
o Good teamwork skills.
