The OpportunityReporting directly to the Managing Director, the role of Chief Geologist will take on responsibility for the exploration efforts and liaise closely with the on-the-ground Exploration Manager. Providing key technical expertise and oversight in relation to geology and development, you will, as the Competent Person, ensure accuracy and compliance with ASX-listing rules in information provided to both the ASX and the wider market. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and guide the Geology team and Exploration efforts. Provide technical expertise to the team and Board Ensure accuracy and compliance with ASX-listing rules Sign-off on all geology data released to the market. Communicate effectively with US-based Exploration Manager to ensure open lines of communication and effective information sharing. Travel to sites in the US on an ad hoc basis. Candidate ProfileCurrently operating in a role at a similar level, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical understanding of both JORC and ASX-listing and Disclosure rules. Experienced Geology Manager or Chief Geologist with extensive demonstrated experience in effectively manage and provide accurate information in line with will compliance rules. Exposure to critical minerals and the North American mining or exploration sector will be highly regarded. Ideally you will be based in Australia, but key will be your ability to demonstrate the skill set outlined here.
