This professional family have three young boys, and a friendly border collie! They are a healthy, hands-on family who love surfing, hiking, camping, and exploring the beautiful Queensland coastline. This is a warm household full of love! The family seeks a kind and active Au Pair who will engage with their children. Their middle son has a recent hip diagnosis requiring him to remain non-weight bearing. While he is independent with his walking frame and crutches, he needs gentle reminders to stay off his feet and enjoy indoor activities such as craft and games. The family mainly need support with: School/daycare drop-offs and pick-ups Spending one full day per week each with the 2-year-old and the 4-year-old Light housekeeping duties Playing sports and being outdoors with the older boys, while supervising safe indoor play for the middle son. Occasional babysitting You'll be helping out approximately 25–30 hours per week, primarily over four days. The family owns a spacious 4-bedroom home. You will have your own private, fully self-contained granny flat Merrimac is a social suburb central to the Gold Coast hub. It is just 10 minutes from the beach and social activity of Broadbeach, with easy access to shopping malls, sporting complexes, and public transport links to Brisbane. This would suit an Au Pair who is active, outdoorsy and genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with young children! In addition to fabulous accommodation and meals, you will be paid generous pocket money with a bonus after a 6 month stay. You will also have some access to the family car and a bicycle to use!
