The Roll Former and Factory Labourer is an integral part of the Manufacturing and Logistics Team and is responsible for the safe, effective operation & maintenance of manufacturing equipment to complete production orders on time and to an established standard.
**Responsibilities and duties for the role**:
- Loading / feeding raw material into roller formers / seamers;
- Scheduling / prioritising operation of roll formers to complete ordered product lengths / quantities on time in full;
- Packing / strapping completed products for transportation;
- Picking / Packing small part products to fulfill production orders;
- Forklift / overhead crane operation;
- Completion of production paperwork;
- Maintain product quality to specified standards;
- Raw material inventory management;
- Complete monthly stock take;
- Loading and unloading of transport units;
- Maintains setup charts for all sets of roll form tooling;
- Performs tooling setup and line changeover on roll form machine to produce roll form cross sections to print specifications;
- Reads basic blueprints and sketches to fabricate metal components;
- Sets up and operates machines to produce specified components;
- Operates equipment under strict safety requirements.
**Key attributes/skills and qualifications:
- **
- 2 years' experience as a roll former, preferred;
- A forklift, overhead crane license and white card are required;
- Experience working in manufacturing or construction, desired but not essential;
- Good organizational skills;
- Ability to problem solve;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to work as part of team;
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task;
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $27.30 - $33.89 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
