Job Description:
Care Assistants play a vital role in helping residents with daily living activities, including social and communal needs.
They provide essential support to ensure the well-being of our residents, working closely with healthcare professionals and other care staff.
The Care Assistant is responsible for delivering high-quality care services that meet individual needs and promote independence.
They must demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect towards residents, their families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement care plans as directed by Shift Managers
* Assist with personal care, including bathing and grooming
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
* Document resident interactions and care activities
* Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
