The Program will undertake organisational design and incorporate recommendations from recent internally initiated reviews and audits. The Program will align activities into cohesive, achievable workstreams that will allow us to deliver effective long-term change. The Program will uplift key areas to improve our performance, resilience and impact and ensure that the organisation can continue to successfully deliver into the future.The Transformation Program Office is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivery, monitoring and reporting of the program of work. In particular, the Transformation Program Office ensures that work is effectively defined and sequenced, risks, issues and dependencies are managed, change and communication activities are effective and that benefits are defined and measured.The roleThe Benefits Officer for the Transformation Program office will be an integral part of Program Delivery. The role will effectively monitor and quantify outcomes and benefits for Organisational Transformation and Enterprise Projects. You will work in close partnership with branch heads, directors and subject matter experts to track program outcomes, and measure, evaluate and report on program benefits and implementation of review recommendations.You will be responsible for providing specialist expertise in forecasting, monitoring and reporting quantitative and qualitative benefits of the program, maintaining the mapping between projects and benefits, ensuring stakeholders can clearly understand and articulate how each project contributes to the organisation’s transformation objectives.In this role you will:• In collaboration with the EL1 Manager, project business leads and benefit owners, establish and implement plans to baseline, measure and report program benefits, including setting and periodically reviewing benefit targets.• Work with benefit owners and project teams to identify, define and track the program benefits and the implementation of review recommendations.• Provide specialist advice on benefits management, including escalating any risks and issues relating to benefits realisation• Work with the Change Management team to communicate the value and impact of benefits realisation to staff• Support the EL1 Manager and contribute as a proactive and inclusive member of the Program Delivery team.To be successful in the role you will:• Possess sound analytical and critical thinking skills, with an attention to detail and a willingness to learn and apply new analytical skills• Ability to analyse and translate technical or complex data into clear messages for different audiences• Be collaborative and able to build productive working relationships across the organisation though well-developed communication and influencing skills.• Demonstrate excellent judgement and initiative making sound decisions, and escalating appropriately.
